Dark roots light ends

So i recently topped up my bleached and semi permanent pastel purple with a violet/conditioner mix i made. Applied to roots first and then ends and wrapped everything in a plastic bag + towel and left it for an hour if not more to set. Problem i have now is that my roots are perfectly purple (more so than i thought the dye would make them), my ends are not.

The initial dye job was pastel all over but not very even for a proffesional job. That is why i decided to give it a go myself. I am a little unhappy, is there anything i did wrong or what i can do better next time?

It could be because your ends are over-processed and struggling to hold colour, in which case a protein filler could help.
Pastels are always tricky though, and often need a second application. I would wash i lightly, and re-apply to the lighter areas and see if that evens things out.

I dont jnow about them being over processed, i just had my hair bleached from 100% my own virgin color. Would it even be possible for them to be over processed?

What would a protein filler be?

It is entirely possible to over-process with just one application of bleach, especially if they used a high level of peroxide, left it on too long, or if your hair is long or fine.
How does it feel?
You can either use a reconstructor like Joico K Pak deep Penetrating Reconstructor, or there are sprays designed to even out the porosity before dyeing.
Try re-applying to the ends first, it may do the trick.
