Dark Cherry Brown Red/Wine help!

Hello everyone!

So, I've been trying to get to a rich dark cherry brown red/wine color for the past two years. However, most of my colors look good the first day and always end up turning this ugly red brown--I've tried John Frieda 4R and eSalon, but they faded to a red brown.

That's why I'm really tempted to try manic panic since it has richer colors and much healthier for the hair (trying to find a non peroxide color). My base color right now is around a 3/4. And, I want to keep it that dark since I work in a business professional setting. I was thinking mixing vampire red with purple haze or Vampire red with electric blue. Do you think that would work?

I've attached the colors I want to achieve. However, I am aiming for the darker version.

Also, I am open to other brands without peroxide.

Please help!

I think applying a red/purple mixture over your current shade will give you that deep burgandy you want πŸ™‚

I say go with forward with your current plan.

My virgin reddish-brown hair went a similar colour to the top pic by mixing Stargazer Rouge with a tiny hint of Stargazer Violet, so definitely try the red-purple mix πŸ™‚
