Hi all, this is going to be a rambelly post sorry. I'm having a hard time with my hair at the moment, I have been trying to keep it orange as I am trying to grow it and don't want to get tempted to bleach it again for another colour.
However the dye I normally use is napalm orange which I obviously can't get hold of at the moment and any time I use a different orange I am not happy with it. So I've been fading it out to yellow and I really feel like I need a real colour to keep me happy while I wait for napalm. What colour would come out nice over really bright yellow but fade out to allow me to dye orange over it eventually without me having to bleach?
For reference my hair will probably all be a bit lighter than the lightest parts of my hair in this picture when I try to dye it. (it refuses to fade past the point of plae but bright yellow.)

An orange-based red would work. I liked Directions Vermilion Red and Stargazer Golden Flame.
Or you could mix an orange?

Or how about going with the obvious and dyeing it neon yellow in the meantime?

Ooh I like the look of vermillion red fade, I might dye some bits really yellow and some bits with diluted vermillion. Thank you!!
