colour mix - toning down pink!

Evening all, πŸ™‚

I've decided I want to tone down my almost luminous pink for something a little bit richer but still a vibrant colour....ideally I don't want to bleach it for another couple of weeks so just want something I can put over the existing colour!

What could I do? I've got a full pot of Poppy Red, a diluted pink mixture that is something similar to Flamingo Pink (my current colour - pic at the bottom) and a purple mixture which is similar to Plum - all Directions colours.

Would just mixing the Poppy into the pink mixture give a nice colour, or maybe add a blob of the purple mix too to give it a bit of depth?

A xXx

I think it looks awesome! I love that shade of pink!

I have put a tiny bit too much blue/purple into my pink mix in the past and thought it looked less neon. When I'm bored and just want something slightly different i do a test strand or two on my head to compare which I like better before I go all the way πŸ™‚

Like babysefic88 says, a touch of blue tends to tone down bright pinks, so I'd dilute down some of the purple and put it over the top--as long as it's a bluey purple and not a pinky one, seeing as it's a mix.

Well, I have had a complete change and am now bright red, haha!!  I mixed the pot of poppy red in with the pink mix and some conditioner and it has come out a lovely vibrant pinky red...I really love it!! πŸ™‚  now just got to decide whether to cut or grow!!
