Does anyone have any magic tips for getting old dye stains off vinyl flooring - my bathroom is totally wrecked with splodges of pinks, purples and blues on the floor, I am just about to start painting the walls but am on a super tight budget so could really do without having to replace that too!

I have tried the normal Flash/Dettol spray stuff and neat Domestos bleach but it is not even touching it....is there anything that will get rid of it completely or do I just have to bite the bullet and buy the new flooring?

A xXx

I use Cif cream and a scrubby sponge. Takes a  while but saves me 90% of the time.

When you say spray stuff, do you mean normal cleaner?  Mould remover spray is pretty amazing at getting stains off of just about anything.  It sorts out my grout when even bleach doesn't touch it.

I love anti-mold spray for cleaning just about everything- the one I use comes in a green spritz for about £3. Works much faster on my sink etc than normal bleach or bathroom cleaner. I also used it once to get pravana violet stains off my nails (not good for the skin but worked a treat!).

For newer stains on the sink/bath I pour some normal liquid hand soap on and leave it for 5 mins and it usually gets it out. I've not tried it on flooring or stains more than a couple of days old tho.
