Change of plan? Green!

Hello  *1*

So um.... my dip-dye that I'm now trying to fade out from blue is currently a kind of greeny teal colour which I'm quite liking (linked below) and I am thinking that as the fade continues, or if I get bored and use a colour remover, if it doesn't look like it'll be light enough for Adore Aquamarine, my Plan B is going to be green  πŸ˜€  like a really nice leafy forest green, not too bright but not too dark.  I'd like a result like this pic snagged from the Gorgeous Greens inspo thread: (attached)

My hair is naturally brown, the dipdyed section has been bleached but still had quite a bit of yellow, hence the greenish fade I have going on.

1: Would a green dip-dye look ok on brown hair?
2: What would I get if I mixed Adore colours Electric Lime and Emerald?

Has anyone already done this mix and can show me a pic?

(I was going to try this sort of mix with Directions Alpine & Spring greens but given the epic staying power Directions has on me I thought I'd try another brand in case I don't like it)

I don't know about Adore, but if you google 'dip dye brown green' you'll see that it will look amazing!

1. YES! DO it! I've only seen more blue-based greens on black hair IRL myself, but I reckon it'd really suit you.

Probably safest to do a test strand beforehand if you can if you can.

No idea whether you've used these guys, but they have little swatches and you can choose colours based on what shade you're aiming for.

From what I can tell, Emerald is a cool green and Electric Lime is bold and warm-based. From what little I understand (And educated guessing), what I'd do is mix a tiny bit of the Emerald into the Electric Lime rather than vice versa (Maybe 1 part Emerald to 20 parts EL initially?).

Spring Green has a neon base and neon colours tend to stick, so avoid that if you're not sure how you feel! Stargazer's African Green looks to my eye quite like what you're going for, but I'm not sure how you feel about Stargazer

^ that agrees with what the Beeunique shop says, Emerald is blue based and Elec. Lime is yellow-based  πŸ™‚ nothing in the galleries for them yet though.
(There's more here than just the forum πŸ˜‰ )

I may even do an Emerald-to-Lime gradient  πŸ˜€  lol

Edited original post with a link to my current hair.
