Hey guys. I know this is a common occurrence, but how do I fix it? I have some butterscotch blonde hair extensions here and I'm dying brown into them using Clariol Beautiful Collection semi-permanent dye. So luckily I did a test piece before dying the entire set and when I washed it, it came out silvery purple. How can I bring the warmth back into the hair and make it brown like it should be? I chose this dye in particular because it's nicer to the hair. No ammonia or peroxide. I need a gentle fix!
Thank you!
Are the extensions 100% human hair?
Adore have a great range of brown direct dyes. If you can post a pic of the colour they are now and the colour you want I am sure someone can recommend a specific shade.

Yes, they're 100% human. What is direct dye if I may ask? I'll attach pics. I'm actually needing two colors. I'm creating a tri-tone color with these extensions. A dark brown matching my natural color that fades to a medium brown that then fades to the extensions blonde color. I'll attach a pic of my hair.
A direct dye is a true semi permanent that doesn't require an oxidant, so no harmful chemicals that can damage your hair.
I see. I looked at the adore dyes. I would really like to get a dye I could find at a local store. Could you suggest another brand that might be similar? I would just rather not wait for them to be shipped to me.
There are very few direct dyes in natural colours available on the High St. None of them are as good as Adore IME. Nice&Easy make a non-permanent range, and Wella make Colour Fresh which you may be able to get at Beauty supply stores, depending on where you live.
Hmm.. It looks like I may have to buy online then. :/ I'm going to check out my local beauty store but their website doesn't seem to carry Wella's Colour Fresh. They carry over kinda by Wella.
