Blue/Purple

Heya,

So, I've decided to ease my brunette boringness by adding a flash if colour to the front section πŸ™‚

I would like to go for a vibrant bluey purple but don't think I will get a very light base as underneath my current permanent dark brown it is pretty badly stained reddy pink.

My plan is to just bleach out a couple of sections in my fringe so I don't really want to faff about with using multiple colour removers and bleach baths for such a small area...so, could I realistically use a mix of something like Directions plum/violet mixed with about the same amount of either neon or lagoon blue to make sure it has a bluey fade rather than a pinky one or would that just end up as a murky mess?

I really need to use directions colours if possible coz I can get them locally and I need it done by next weekend πŸ™‚

A xXx

If you are using Plum, you wont need to add blue as it fades to a turquoise shade now

Hmm,  not sure how well that will work in that case,  don't think I want any greenyness if my base is going to be a definite yellowy ginger at best I would think.

Do you think the new Plum would cover that ok on its own and still be quite a bright definite purple to contrast with my dark brown...or i could mix half and half Plum and Violet?

New Plum is more like Blue Velvet than Plum ... I'd either mix my own purple with pink and blue or go with another colour if you're trying to avoid greens.
