Blue/green blonde to auburn?

My hair was blue awhile back but it faded so I colored over it with a blue and purple that I mixed. It colored my hair purple and I had that for a while.  It faded out and I decided I was done with that color I used a color remover (one'n'only brand). It took out the purple. Yeah! But now my hair is a greenish blonde color with a little bit of blue mixed in. I wanted to go to an auburn color next but since orange is on the opposite side of the color wheel. I don't know what to do next. Sure if I just color over with the the auburn color it will come to an awful muddy brown color. What next?

It depends on how dark the green is and what shade and depth of colour of auburn you want to go. As auburn is a bit more brown based than something like copper, then you should be fine. You’d just use a bit more red/orange in the dye than normal to neutralise the green.
