Blonde to dark chocolate brown

So, I am currently blonde. I bleached my hair and toned it.  I have the smallest amount of an orange tint in my bangs and I have about 1/2 inch of regrowth. I want to dye my hair to dark chocolate brown. The brand is one 'n only argan oil 3CH. I was just wondering if I am able to just dye my hair? I don't have to do anything? Also which volume developer should I use? I have 10 20 30 & 40.

Thanks ahead of time πŸ™‚

I always fill bleached hair with a red direct dye to replace the pigments lost by bleaching before attempting to go dark again. Then use a very low vol peroxide so the dye is deposit only, you don't need any lift.

i'd use ten to deposit any higher volume will lift, and really I'd recomend or semi or demi in the first place, going darker doesn't need 20 vol,  and defintily fill with a red, either a direct dye red, adore paprika, or mahogany or a red protein filler colorful makes a red one that you can get at sallys,

sorry to bump this up but iI have a quick question related: would this method be advisable if the brown you're using is a semi-permanent? I've been trying to get my hair a natural colour and always mix with a bit of red dye like paprika, but the brown (adore dark chocolate) is always washing out too soon :/ i was wondering if dying my hair red first and then brown would do the trick

thanks in advance  πŸ˜€

Probably not. The brown will still fade first, so you'll still have to top up the brown!
