Hey, everyone 🙂
Im thinking about changing to enchanted forest green from the purple I have just now. Im guessing im gonna have to bleach it in order to remove the purple first but my question is how white do you think itll have to be? My hair usually just goes blonde with lots of ginger, iv used midnight blue and violet and they both seem to cover the ginger well enough so should the green be ok?

i applied it to a yellow base. as its green it wont matter if your base isn't white, as you want green anyways =) so id say just get it to a light yellow

as pippa said, light yellow should be fine, gingery might make it go a bit of a browny colour but yellow should be cool 🙂

I did it over bleached-out Virgin Rose which was, to be honest, probably only faded to about the same shade as Cupcake Pink (I'm impatient). It came out dark green (darker than most of the pictures of Enchanted Forest in the gallery) but not muddy at all, very definitely green. As far as I can tell EF is powerful enough to be quite forgiving - I would guess that it wouldn't go brown if you put it over ginger, but won't be quite as bright.

Thanks everyone, im probably too impatient to wait so fingers crossed itll be mostly yellow after 1 bleaching!

I applied EF on faded orange (lightly bleached underneath) and it came out the colour of my avatar.
I don't think you need to go really light for this colour.
