best way to remove blue? (quickly)

Hi Ladies, my hair is a royal blue colour, made by mixing Directions Atlantic blue, violet and a tiny amount of cerise, it doesn't fade much at all with usual washing, I feel the cerise makes it hold better (or so it seems!?)

Anyway, I'm known at my children's school as the 'mom with blue hair' which is fine, except a week ago another mom (who used to work for me but I sacked her for gross misconduct and now despise her! *cat*) decided to dye her hair blue and I am fuming.  *ott* Thankfully, she is being laughed at for copying me but I really can't bear to be associated/compared to this vile woman so I want to get rid of the blue and do a purple into pink ombre effect.

I need to do it this week as I go on hols on Saturday, I know it doesn't leave me much time but any advice would be greatly appreciated

The purple part is easily done by adding some pink over the blue but for the pink, you will need to fade the blue. I have managed to cover sky blue with cerise in the past.
I would try a color remover and if that doesnt work the bleach+ shampoo+ oils fading method.

Why don't you just go all purple for now & do the ombre when your back & have more time?

Shannon that's a very good idea! I may well do that, I can have a mess with it later and it may fade a better colour too, thanks for your suggestion x
