Best color of Pastel Purple?

I'm having lots of difficulties on a color as of right now. I know I want my hair to be purple; I'm just not sure which brand and color are the best ones to use. Very new to all of this and I'd appreciate your help a lot. My hair is light blonde at the moment and I want a purple to be able to show up on my hair and last longer than two days and not wash out. I love pastel soft colors, deep purples and something that will look nicely on my hair. I wouldn't mind if the purple ending up fading into a soft purple, pink-purple color or blueish purple.

So confused and I keep looking at all these colors online and I can't decide on which one to get. I'd appreciate it if someone was to guide me in the right direction here on how to properly make the color last long and which purple are the best choice. Just let me know of the brand of hair dye and name of color and I'll find it.  *thx*

I don't have a recommendation for pastel purple itself, I don't often use purple as I just don't suit it for the most part. However, the best pastels are always darker, more pigmented dyes that you can dilute with cheap white conditioner. Then you can get the exact shade you want.

Also, do you want a pinky purple or more on the blue side? Can you post a photo of an expample you like? It'll help a lot for recommendations. Purple is actually a huge spectrum of shades 🙂

So, to add to my answer. Pastel colours always fade fast. There's ways of topping them up and preventing them fading though. We can go into more detail on that once we know what kind of colour you want. I understand now you're not worried what shade it ends up, but it's still a large range of colours, so it would be great just to see something you like. It might be you're more set on one shade than you realise 🙂

Also, for pastel purple, you need almost white blonde hair. So you'd need to lighten your hair.

Though, if you are happy with a dark purple, most will fade to a soft purple, so that is an easier way to go. There are some pitfall colours, like directions plum which used to have a lovely fade, but now fades royal blue and is impossible to remove, so asking is a good plan!

I want it to be a dark purple and than fade into a light purple.
