You might be better off emailing directly. You can use this page http://www.beeunique.co.uk/contactus.html

UV colour means it will glow under UV light.
For example

It's not glow in the dark though. It's the light they sometimes use in clubs etc and makes white glow.

Which hair dye is it that is sold out? Which colour?

Well, I know that model (not directly, she did some modelling for me once) and she's always used Directions in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if she mixed an orange red and a pink red for this truer red. Off hand I can't remember the reds in Directions and I can't check on the site. I'm sure someone else can help soon πŸ™‚

Is tangerine orange? I feel like an orange based red and poppy read would be a better mix. I think fire red and poppy red would be best.

I always had a true red from a 50:50 mix of Fire and Poppy red. Fire and Vermillion are the two orange based reds from Directions, Poppy and Pillarbox are pink based.
The fact that you got a pink fade from Fire makes me concerned that they have changed the formula.
Adore had great reds, but they are almost exclusively pink based. You could add some Orange blaze to make the red shade you want.

Do you mean to see if it will get you the colour you want? Try on a strand, as the outcome will be affected by your base.
Diluting a tiny drop of the colour in conditioner will show you if the dye is pink or orange based

Right, so you mean base colour rather than formula πŸ™‚

Fire red is orange based. Wicked Pixie did mention that in her post "Fire and Vermillion are the two orange based reds from Directions, Poppy and Pillarbox are pink based."

If you're worried about the formula of fire having changed then go for vermilion, then you know its going to be orange based.
