Back to natural color

Hi!

I would like some advice about a color I want to achieve, so if someone can give me some tips, I would be forever grateful πŸ™‚

My natural hair color is something between blonde and brown. It's that hair color where sometimes I'm  pretty sure I have blonde hair and other times I'm convinced it's brown. Now, of course, I did something stupid. After a haircut, my hair started turning darker and I didn't like it so I used John Frieda's 'Go blonder'. It definitely made my hair go blonder but I didn't like it and now I would like to get my own color back, that I originally had. I realise it's impossible to achieve exactly the same color, but at least something as close as possible so I can let it grow out.

My question is, do you have any idea which color or combination of colors would give me that result? Here ( http://www.upcoming.nl/marleen/13740/een-ode-aan-vrouwen-die-net-geen-bruin-en-net-geen-blond-haar-hebben ) you can find some pictures, I feel like number 3 and 7 look the most like my natural hair color.

Thank you!

Can you add a pic of your current colour?

Sure, this is approximately it. It's kind of reddish. It's starting to grow out and I can see the difference but I couldn't make a clear picture of that because of poor lighting. It's best seen in daylight. Over here, it's night. I will eventually upload an other pic of that tomorrow

So do you just want a cooler, more ashy shade, or do you want it blonder?

I don't know what tone this is, kind of cooler and a little bit ashy, right? So I would like something like in this picture. I definitely don't want it blonder.
By the way, thanks for your help until now πŸ™‚

If you just want it less red and more ashy, rather than lighter (the pics in the first link were several shades lighter than your current colour)then that is quite simple.
I would dilute a blue direct dye in conditioner and use it to tone. You will have to experiment to get the right dilution, but blue will neutralise the orange tones.
