Avoiding Salmon pink?

Hi, I've had pink hair for about 3-4 months now, I did a series of weekly bleach baths and got to about a level 6-7

Then I dyed over it with Directions Cerise, and then later Dark Tulip.

Now I don't really spend that much time maintaining my colour and I don't mind it fading -except- that it goes to this salmony pink/peach colour which just doesn't suit my skin tone at all.

So my question is, are there any pinky/red dyes (any brand) that won't fade like that? Or would mixing in some blue/violet help? Or am I looking at having to lighten my base further? (which I don't really want to do if I can avoid it)

Thanks.

If your base was very orange then all pinks will fade reddish then orangey.
You could try Special Effects Virgin Rose, it has excellent staying power and enough cool tones to counteract a peach fade.
If you want a really cool toned pink you will need a lighter, less warm base.

You can also wash with purple/silver shampoo. It neutralises the yellow and would make it cool pink again.
