Artic Fox Aquamarine: How would it look on my hair?

Hi everyone,

About three months ago now I bleached my hair for the first time. It went surprisingly well, with no big issues. I bleached it for the main purpose of dying it other colours, but I never got around to it, as school was getting very busy at the time. I'm now able to dye my hair, finally.

My roots have grown out about 1-2 inches since bleaching, however I have naturally dark blonde hair, so it doesn't look too bad against my bleached blonde hair. My hair is about 12 inches past my chin, for reference. I have bought Artic Fox Aquamarine, as I have seen it on other people online and I like the colour. I may dilute it a bit to lighten it a bit, though.

I'll be inserting a few pictures of my hair. In terms of levels, my hair is about a 8-9, whereas my roots are a similar to a 6-5. How would the dye settle and look on my hair, as it is? I'm not interested in bleaching it again, as I think most of my hair is light enough for it to be bright and for the colour to show well, and I'm pretty sure the dye won't look too bad on my roots either, but I just want a second opinion.

Thank you
*lovestars*

One of my friends uses that colour at the moment, it doesn't really stick to her roots where it isn't pre-lightened but it lasts a really long time on the lengths, she just has it as a dark mousey blonde to aquamarine ombre and it looks really pretty and mermaidy.

Her base colour is quite a bit whiter than yours though so it is quite blue on her, I imagine it would have a more green tinge to it over your colour, particularly as it fades or if you dilute it a lot.

Good luck, looking forward to seeing the results if you do go ahead with it!

how did it turn out?
If you want it to be bluer, you can always tone your hair with a purple shampoo to remove some of the yellow in your hair.
