Anyone has experience with Lagoon blue vs Atlantic blue?

I've viewed like hundreds of pictures of these dyes and I can't decide which one is the colour that I want... Are they really that different? Can anyone who's had experience with them tell me please what is their base and how do they fade? For a picture reference I attach an image.

I'm thinking of diluting either atlantic blue or lagoon blue with turquoise and turquoise to get this colour.

Thanks anyone!!

They are very different in real life. Lagoon Blue is much paler, and much less pigmented. It isn't very forgiving over an uneven base, and I have never found it to last well. Atlantic Blue is a great colour. Rich and well pigmented, it can cope with being diluted and still cover and last well.
The pic is similar to Lagoon over a pale and even base. I think Atlantic diluted would be similar, you wouldn't need to add much, if any, turquoise, especially if there is some yellow remaining in your base. I find light blues are tricky, and very much dependant on your base colour.

Agree, Lagoon quickly fades, it turned greyish on me (with an OK base - mostly white partly yellow).

Pic is Lagoon undiluted after 2-3 washes

Thanks so much. I've got an idea of what I want to do, we'll see if it works.

So atlantic vs lagoon is different in the sense that lagoon is lighter and less pigmented, but what is their colour? Is lagoon blue more purpley? How do they look?

Thankyouuu

I found that with the slightest bit of yellow in the base hair, atlantic blue would go green/fade green even with violet mixed in. If you dilute atlantic blue that much I think it would go pastel.

Maybe sky blue or bubblegum blue if you want that kind of more neon blue.

I don't want to mix violet with atlantic blue.

I want to first stain the hair pale lavender (not to just cancel out yellow, but to actually give it some light purple base), then go over it with 30% conditioner, 30% turquoise, 40% atlantic blue.. Will it work? ;x

It will depend on your base colour, but in theory it should get you to a similar shade to the pic.

I did an atlantic dilute with white conditioner, with a couple of spoons of turquoise and got this  last year, my base was a faded lavender  - but this is before turquoise directions changed..  I would defo advice atlantic over lagoon.

Amazing! I'd imagine it's brighter in real life but the colour is nearly perfect and what I want! I am aware I won't get exactly what I want but I am not that much of a perfectionist, plus colourful hair looks different in every light so.. πŸ™‚

Wicked Pixie, my base should be pale purple/lavender πŸ™‚

Pinkseasider-thanks so much for posting, as what I want to do is literally almost what you did! and I love the result!

P.S. even if directions' turquoise changed, I think I got the old version as it had no green in it. x

I've done both atlantic and lagoon, mixed together, raw and diluted. Lagoon fades faster, Atlantic is more forgiven as said above and also stays much longer (I've been using atlantic for a few years now probably). Atlantic mixed with turquoise makes a strong blue but I havent tried that with the new formula yet πŸ™‚

I much prefer Lagoon instead of Atlantic. Atlantic is a dark blue, its nice, but Lagoon is far brighter than Atlantic, much more like the pic you posted. But I've also used CC Bubblegum Blue, which looked really close to your pic! Perhaps with a bit of Lagoon mixed in so it isn't too light. Bubblegum blue didn't have great staying power though.
