I know the veggie dyes don't last as long on virgin hair as on bleached, but would the staying power alter between brands without bleach too? For example would it take longer to get SFX dye out of virgin hair than Stargazer, or would they all take roughly the same amount of time because the hair is completely natural?

I don't really know, but from experience with Manic Panic and SFX on Virgin hair SFX lasted a lot longer and also faded nicely.
I've had similar purples in my hair from both and the Manic Panic took about 2 weeks to disappear whilst my SFX faded to a nice pink over two months. I have mousey blonde hair that sun bleaches on the ends though so that probably helped.

This. MP washed out of my roots very quickly, but the SFX stays around on them for a bit longer.
