Advice on removal!

Hey I used the colour freedom magenta dream on my hair about two and a half weeks ago (previously used the pink piazz!) it's a great dye, really bright and conditioning! Last time I did this my hair (pink piazz) was back to blonde by now! It states 6-10 washes on the box. I would like to be back to blonde (I'm usually a nearly white blonde nice and easy).
This colour is so slow to shift! I've used head and shoulders, washing up liquid and baking soda- this has made it fade to a pink, a mixture of light and dark. When I washed it before the suds were very pink, they aren't so much any more! Does this mean I've got all the possible colour out and it's now permanent! I did a strip test of colour before and it made the hair blue/purple  ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
Is there a way I can speed this up? I've read about "bleach baths" not sure what these are! Would a blonde or even ash cover it? I don't mind it being a baby pink mixed with blonde. Any advice please

You basically have to ignore the length of time stated that they last. It's never right. If it is, it's just luck!

Dark colours, but especially dark pinks take a lot more to remove than lighter colours as they have a lot more pigment in them. I'm assuming pink piazz was a much lighter pink? Pinks are one of the colours that can be especially hard to remove. It is possible it's stained, but it's impossible to tell until you've faded it more. It will fade more, it just won't show in the suds as much.

Swimming helps a huge amount. I fade down stubborn pinks and turquoises these days, when I don't even want to, by going swimming a couple of times a week.

Wait until it's a lot more faded before trying a bleach bath, but really, bleach isn't intended to remove dye so it doesn't always work too well. There is a method using oils, shampoo and bleach powder somewhere in the tutorials forum, so search there for that. I hated it, but others have reported it works well. For me it just caused quite a lot of damage and for some reason I ended up with bright gold yellow hair. Most others have perfect results and little damage.

I will remove your other thread. This is a small forum, so it won't get any replies different to here and it'll just be confusing ๐Ÿ™‚ . I think everyone is just busy at the moment with Christmas!
