Advice needed! Help!

So a while ago (say two/three months ago) my gf dyed her hair with Vixxen War Paint in Purple Rain - and it's dropped to this. We can't get rid of it! It's not washing out, its not fading and bleach bathing didn't work to remove any colour either.  It dropped in patches, not a nice even fade.

Can anyone recommend a colour that will cover this? We are happy to use product that will prolong the colour and she's partial to pinks and purples... The blond hair was raspberry pink, the blue/green patches were dark blue based purple. Also, we've tried manic on it and it didn't take at all..

Anyone able to help??

I think Adore Purple Rage would cover that nicely. It's a lovely deep purple πŸ˜€ I had it on a light ginger base for a while and it came out just fine so I reckon it'd cover this wonderfully

If you don't mind me asking, how long did the colour last before it started to fade? That's a prime concern for her as the last few brands we've tried - Fudge Paintbox and Vixxen (we're in australia) - only held on for about two or three washes before it all started to drop out in patches.. it wasn't pretty!

I've  looked at the Adore dyes online and i wondered what the coverage/consistency was like..

Is her hair naturally that light or has it been chemically treated?

These dyes last a lot longer on hair that has been processed at least a little.

Her hair is naturally a dark blonde/strawberry blonde colour; the lighter parts you can see have been bleach bathed back when we dyed it.

have you tried sulfite free shampoo? When I had purple rage it lasted about 3 washes at "full vibrancy" then maybe another 5 before turning blue.

EDIT: I misunderstood your first post. I thought you meant that all of her hair had been bleach bathed. Adore is pretty terrible for covering unprocessed hair. She wouldnt need to bleach it much, just a quick bleach bath at a low volume should do it

Sorry, all of her hair was bleach bathed. I keep forgetting that you can't see her regrowth in that pic!

We're pretty sold on the Adore dyes from the pics, she just wants to know about the fading.. do they fade evenly or do they fade in patches?

EDIT: Thankyou so much for putting up with all the questions!

I found the fade mostly even, a part fron one of two 'problem areas' that fade mega fast for me no matter which dye I use.

With the adore colours I've used the fade has been impressively even and pretty. Also to make the colour last longer, leave the dye on for hours, my usual goal is 4 hours. And look in to co washing. It really helps maintain colour.

When hair dye fades unevenly it is usually due to differences in porosity in different parts of the hair, although using a good brand of dye really does help.
