So I have decided to step over to the dark side and go deep burgundy, woo hoo!!! I already have my color set for that, but I thought that since I have the weekend to do whatever with my hair since im putting a dark color on Monday morning then maybe I can have a quick fling with a fun color, i'm just at a loss of what color to try out. I was thinking a bright magenta since I figure that wont counteract the burgundy at all, if anything it might just enhance it. So many decisions!!! Any ways just wondering if anybody had some suggestions that just wont ruin my burgundy gorgeousness that will happen Monday.

Yeah, magenta would be good. Or red. You might get away with a pale blue (not sure what your base is now...) as burgandy should be a highly pigmented colour.

Woo! How exciting! I think a magenta could even help if anything as it should add to the depth of the burgundy.

Well I tried a color that looked magenta in application but once I had diluted it a bit and washed in hot water it turned out more of a bubblegum pink color. I know there are plenty of things that I did wrong, but I was kind of banking on that because I didn't want anything too dark. Not bad for my first time using a semi and a crazy color at that! I actually quite like it, even though its not the magenta I had pictured.

Not magenta at all but superrrrr pretty! I'm not usually a fan of pink but that is just lovely!
