The journey to flame hair!

I swear I've never met a nicer bunch of people on the internet. Seriously though, you should see how terrifying I look first thing in the morning before saying things like that! 😛

Still very little fade and no rub-off to speak of. I really like this mix as the colour doesn't have a garish luminous sheen to it like some can. I just wish I'd known more about veg dyes when I first dyed my hair bright red a few years ago as I might not have given up on it so quickly!

Final result is downright stunning! I'm sitting here with a mix of sfx candyapple and nuclear on my head as we speak, I hope I get a result half as good as that! : )

Both colors are so beautiful! I was actually looking to get the flame shade, but you pull of the red perfectly! 🙂

Update time! Because I mixed all sorts of reds to get my colour, the fade was truly horrible:

I'd hoped that mixing orange and pink-based reds would result in a nice even fade, but it seems that the colours just faded separately, as and where they pleased!

So, after a Colour B4 (normal strength because that's all Boots had) and a L'Oreal box dye, my hair now looks like this:

I actually love it! I need to start thinking about upcoming job interviews and such, so it's a good colour to have for now. In a month's time I might start sneakily lightening it either to get to white or to get a really good base for other colours...
