Rose Red fade!

A couple of the photos from my recent jaunt to Somerset show off my fade really well, so I thought I'd share! Note how both of these photos were taken without my consent.

I've since refreshed the colour as my roots were starting to come through, but this time I used a mix of Cerise + Rose Red so it's already starting to look like these pictures again. πŸ™‚

Gorgeous colour still πŸ™‚
How long after dyeing was this (or how many washes)?

This was about a month after I dyed it, and I wash my hair every other day. (I've tried to go longer between washes but my hair will have none of it!) I didn't do anything special to preserve the colour; just used a colour-protecting conditioner now and then and vinegar rinsed after every wash to prevent rub-off. I think having quite an orange base colour helped to stop it going too pastel-y!

It looks amazing! Rose red is my next colour, I'm really excited now I've seen this, it's good to know it fades so prettily.

Oh my God that's actually the nicest fade, it doesn't look like it needs refreshing at all. Maybe this will be my next venture πŸ™‚

Thanks guys - It's definitely the nicest fade I've ever had from a red or pink! I'm pleasantly surprised how vivid it's stayed. Good thing I like it as I imagine it'd be really difficult to get rid of if I wanted a change!

I love Rose Red - I just don't love everything I touch being Rose Red! Such a gorgeous colour but I find it incredibly transferry.

I had heard horror stories about how bad Rose Red was for colour transfer, but I haven't had many problems with it at all! If I wait a few washes I can even sleep on my white pillowcase without it staining.
