So I was planning on doing a red/ginger ombre but then I saw rose red and thought it would go nice over my ginger fade. I darkened my roots a bit with a perm red and my ends were already a bit lighter so I think i will get an ombre fade.

I might bleach up the ends a wee bit more but ill see how the fade goes first

What you guys think?

Beautiful! Rose Red is one of my absolute faves, bleeds something awful though! Good luck with that πŸ˜›

Thank you!!

Yes, i discovered that last night! Haha. It's so messy. My right hand (must have had a hole in the glove) and neck are pretty pink today. Also had to scrub the bath with bleach. I've been so used to orange based colours like fire and vermillion and they hardly bleed at all.

Rose red is the worst for bleeding ever ever EVER prepare to be shocked in a couple of weeks when it is still running as much as it is right now. I actually had to start wearing gloves in the shower. I also dyed my bum pink by accident πŸ˜› so annoying because this is an amaze colour but I can't take that again haha!

Looks great btw πŸ˜€

Thanks all! I'm really liking it! It's really pink in natural light but more red indoors so perfect for work

@piestar. I washed it this morning and couldn't believe how much came off! And i'll think twice about putting any light coloured bedding on my bed for a while.

yeah its crazy even now a month later I still cant believe how bad the run off is- what I'm getting now is usually what I get after a week from most other dyes!

How is the colour after a month? Still pretty bright? I have never gotten more than 2 weeks out a colour.. but i do wash it almost every day πŸ™

I had a different base to you (faded cerise) so from the start its looked quite different to yours- it was this colour when I did it...

This was the fade on it about a week after

Then this was last week

Right now its a bit lighter than that, coming up to 4 weeks old and looking more like the base I started with. It gets brighter as it fades πŸ™‚ I wash it every other day usually

Still really bright! Looks amazing

If i can get 3 weeks out of this ill be happy. I only got a week to 10 days out of poppy red - that was my before pic above and you can se how faded that was.

I have my fingers crossed for you! I'm interested to see the difference in colours compared to mine so you will have to update πŸ™‚
