My candy apple red hair

Here's some pics of my red hair.

It's done over unbleashed light brown et very faded feria red hair.

Here's the result after two washes (excuse the sunglasses in the house but monday morning is not good for my ego  8))

I used a half bottle of Special Effects Candy apple red, I'm in love with it but it seems that it'll fade faster than expected  :-

Reds do fade fast, unfortunately. But it looks really great! Just add a little red dye to your conditioner each time you wash your hair. It'll keep the colour in just a little bit longer.

Can you do that with every colour?

You can do it with any colour, I'd recommend leaving some gloves in the shower for that purpose though if you're using strong colours πŸ˜‰ so many times I've left the shower with bright pink/orange hands, not a good look

how brilliant! What sort of proportions of dye/conditioner do I want?

I tend to do 2 parts conditioner to 1 part dye, but when I used directions dyes I used half and half because they just refused to stick in my hair no matter what. It's a bit of trial and error. Make sure you shake it up before you use it as well otherwise it separates and it's all just very very messy haha
