can i get opinions from people who view please Tongue

the directions poppy red was lush but it washed out so quickly ive still got a pot and a half of pillarbox red left i may see what its like and put more on another time

I thought the colour really suited you, it's too bad it faded! I'm sure you can find some similar colours in Directions or CC, which will be cheaper and last longer!

Have you read up about ways to make veggie dyes stay longer? Like not using sls shampoo (or washing with conditioner instead of shampoo), rinsing with cold water or vinegar, not washing your hair as often, not using too much hairspray/heat, putting a little bit of the dye in your conditioner for top ups?
There are lots of tips scattered around the forum you might find useful.

ive got a red hair shampoo and conditioner, this wash literally the first wash after washing it and ive been leaving it every few days to wash properl. with luke warm water

I see the second picture and even though it's a bit faded, I think it really suits you.

Did you apply the dye to conditioned or unconditioned hair?  Dry hair or wet hair?

when i used red hair shampoo, it contained sls, which a known colour stripper. that could cause it

what shampoo is best to use then?
also i applied to to shampoo not conditioner hair which was dry and left it 4 hours

directions pillowbox red? D: it was one of the worst fading colour i'd ever used and it took 2 bleach baths and alot of silver shampoo to get out πŸ™ thank god it was only in my fringe! x

nah it was manic panic not directions!
tbh im dying it again but mixed it in with some hot red stargazer!
no conditioner used this time
and will leave it on for hours
woo lets see how it turns out!
i want to try special effects but its sold out eveeerywhere Sad

right so ive dyed it with the pillar box red as i said before and the star gazer added in and love it :]]
i still think it will faded when i wash it but i prefer the colour its turned out this time.
i didnt use conditioner and my hair feels a really nice condition! and i left it on for about 5 hours too photos nowww
