So I've been told at my work I'm not allowed my hair as vibrant red as I have it now as its almost florescent lol. Which I used adore red over bleached hair. then I did xxl pillar box but it's not dark enough. I've been shown photos I'm allowed to dye it and it's still a bright red I'm allowed but more of a dark bright red. Any ideas what dye will be good to use?I love special effects but needs to have orange tones as can't go pink. What's people's opinions on hot lava? Help
Have you had a look at the Adore range? They do a lot of reds and some more natural reds which you could mix. You can even mix in a teeny bit of green to tone down the neon brightness if you can’t find what you really want.
Oh I didn't think of that. I'll have a look at them. They've said they will even pay for my hair dye lol. I don't think I'm causing a problem tbh I get compliments everyday . I guess the only thing to worry about mixing is if it doesn't look right. I wish more places sold the dye in shops then just online. I do actually have apple green by directions!
Mixing is easy though, especially with reds. What you see in the bowl is pretty much what you get on your hair.
Unfortunately bright hair colours just aren’t seen as professional. You are less likely to be taken seriously or even more stupidly, as causing offence to spoke people if you don’t fit in with societal norms. It loosens with time, but it’ll be something that’ll never go fully. It’s one of life’s frustrations for those of us that prefer to not follow the norms entirely!
Thanks 🙂 I'm currently waiting for hot lava by special effects. Got my £14.60 back haha
Going to see what it looks like in the bowl I got 5 compliments in one day the other day all from customers. Then one rude man that said why on earth have u dyed your hair that colour? Lol
Can't seem to win. So I think my hair is slightly darker. Its still bright but more of a blood orange colour now. I just need to tone it down a bit. Mixing the green with hot lava doesn t work makes it a brown. Help lol so far 3 compliments at work and my manager didn't say anything else for the rest of the day about my hair
