So I got fed up with the constant upkeep of my turquoise & green mermaid hair as it was fading so fast, so decided to try red as I've never actually been a proper red!
I used decolour to get a paler turquoise, then bleached roots and bleach bathed lengths
I used pillarbox red over the remains of the turquoise that I couldnt shift so its silghtly darker in places. I also did a peekaboo on my extensions of daffodil yellow for a flamey affect
I'm not sure I like it though as it's such a 'normal' colour for me :/
After using decolour remover
coconut oiling!
and the results!

Thanks! I'm getting more used to it now 🙂 and I can always pretend im the little mermaid if I miss the mermaid hair haha 🙂
My kids love it, but OH is trying to talk e into ditching the extensions... umm, no! 😀

Oooh very nice, the pale-r turquoise looks lovely too! I probably would've enjoyed it too much to finish the job
