So my first experience with veggie hair dye =LOVE IT!
I cannot get over how much i love my new hair π shame about having to use bleach but was worth it.
I did how ever have some lighter bits which show through - any advice on how to get it more even when i dye again? AND its sooo messy! All of these things i can live with though!
Before and afters:
Oh my goodness! It is to die for- stunning! I personally prefer multidimensional hair color but if you don't like it you can just go back over the spots that are too light π
^^ What she said. It looks amazing--what colour did you use?
Stunning would love to know what colour it was?
Im loving the shade too!! gorgeous colour
Thanks everyone π I am still getting used to it but i must say i love it! Would not go back now lol.
I used Jo Bazz 3 times and bleached approx 3 times! Bad i know but i first of all put chunky blonde highlights in as a quick fix for a hen do! then went over my whole hair twice so some bits were white and some gingery blonde then used special effects devilish. The fade hasnt been to bad. Its about 3 weeks in and funnily enough the white bits are the ones most faded!

The white bits will be most faded because they're the most damaged ... hair shouldn't be bleached to white.
Be gentle with it now and keep bleach away from it for a long while, but it is a gorgeous colour : 3
Jealous!
This is gorgeous! I'm beginning to regret chopping mine at this moment π
When you redo remember that you will get the same shade over ginger hair, just a heads up for when you do roots. It looks awesome on you π
Thanks Meeshybop π My roots are through now and a like a real light mousey brown - do you think i will get away with putting the red on top without bleach?
CharlieBong i only have shoulder length hair - the rest are clip ins π

Loving the colour tis gorgeous and really suits you π

Yes and no ... basically, the dye will cover your roots, but as the cuticles will be flat against the surface it won't have anything to hold on to and will wash off within four washes. I went six months of bleach free and after three-four washes there was just a reddish tint to my roots in the sunlight ... but they still looked rooty.
Good news with roots is as it's virgin hair (and as yours are mousy), a simple box blonde applied to roots only will lighten it plenty to get a good red. Try to leave it until your roots are at least 1/2 inch to an inch so that you minimise overspill onto your already overprocessed hair--best applied with a tint brush as you need it to be very precise.
