So, after almost 1 year of purple, I finally decided to get a new color. I've been eyeing a deep red, and asked around on this forum (with a reference-pic) of which colors to use, and the tips were Tulip and rubine, so I went for it.
Started with 2 packs of bleach (because long and thick hair.. meh) which get 80% of the colour out, I didn't get it all out, because we ran out of bleach, so I tried to use a pack of color B4 on the remaining purple.. which just made it blue. But we (my bestfriend and me) thought that blue + red = purple/burgundy-ish, so it would be fine with some different colors in there, so we left the blue there.
So, I mixed 1 pot of tulip and 1 pot of rubine (had to use about 1 1/2 pot of each in total) and this is the result. I'm atleast very happy with it. I've been a redhead before, but that was more of an bright, intense red (Manic Panic Pillarbox red and Directions Poppy red). I really wanted a deeper and a little more subtle red-hue now π
I love this. Does it look exactly like this in real life? I am looking for a tone which will look red and pink in different lights.
it's so gorgeous Marte!

It's kinda hard to get the color 100% right in pictures, but it might show a bit more pink in the pictures than it is irl.
i love this color! its like a deep magenta-y red. this really is gorgeous! i would be totally happy to have this on the ends of my hair, so pretty! and it looks so good on you with your skin tone, seriously. it looks like it should be your natural color!lol
beautiful!
i know you said you had blue on still, but what color is your base under the blue?
My color under the blue (actually turqoise, but it got color b4'd into a blue) was a bleached yellow. π
That's lovely π
