Bleach bath experience with photos

Hello all! I did my first bleach bath a few days ago and it worked wonders. I used a packet of blue bleach, a small bottle of 30vol peroxide and used 2 parts head and shoulders dandruff shampoo. I applied and left on for about 30-45 minutes. The results were awesome and it really helped lighten my hair without damaging it. When I had bleached my hair before the hot hot pink it wasn't quite even but the bleach bath evened it out quite well and I was very pleased. Here is a before picture, an after bleach bath picture, and a picture with the new colors πŸ™‚

Thanks! Yeah I love it I'm very happy. I actually used manic panic pillarbox red and purple haze, however, the pillarbox red came out a strange pinky/orange color which wasn't what I wanted. I waited a day and shampooed it with head and shoulders and then applied manic panic vampire red. I left it on for about 6 hours and rinsed with cold water. I don't know how long the vampire red will last but I know my purple haze will last awhile. The bleach bath definitely helped though, so much better than a regular dose of bleach especially if you're hair is pretty damaged already.

thanks! it's a little more red than it looks in these photos. These were taken inside at night but the ones I took outside in the sun are much better. I'd love to get SFX nuclear red for when this fades, just looking for a shop to buy it in instead of online. Also most places that sell it online are sold out so hopefully i'll run across some luck soon!

Special Effects were out of Nuclear Red and a couple of other colours for about 3 months.  We tend to keep large stock so only ran out a few weeks ago but alot of places have been out of it since around mid November.  The good news is it's being shipped again (my back-order was shipped yesterday) so you should be able to get it again at local stores soon.

And I agree with others that the photos are very helpful to others and it is great to see how much difference a bleach bath can make.

Okay that's great. I just have to find out what local stores in the US sell it! If I can't find any I will order from beeunique and probably get other colors also. I can't decide if I should go with nuclear or do a turquoise/purple mix. My hair is still really healthy, that bleach bath really didn't damage it, so I could easily do it again or a regular bleaching and it'd work!
