I've finally managed to get my little pony hair, sadly the roots tuned silverish! They were light like the ibside if a banana so - really don't get what happened! Dye was a diluted mix of virgin rose and blue velvet.

Thanks ladies!

Gorgeous! How faded was your hair base for this? I'm fading pink to go to lavender too, but I'll be using diluted violet.

Thanks ladies πŸ™‚

My hair was a mix of baby pink  and light highlighter pink.  My mix was like 70 blue velvet 30 virgin rose. The blue toned down the pinl quite a bit.

Love it! As for the roots - they're probably less porous than the rest of your hair because they haven't been processed as much, so the lilac colour has just toned them rather than deposited much colour. I reckon if you go over your roots with the mix again - and maybe leave the dye on for a bit longer - you'll get them to match up. πŸ™‚
