So I tried to tone my yellow-ish blond hair white with directions violet.
I mixed some water, lush okra and directions violet and put it on my hair. As my hair seemed to take the whole mixture in, I did not rinse it out. That was two days ago. I'll wash tonight, but today my hair was lilac. With the diagonal dutch braid the colour only showed on one side.

Yeah the longer you leave toner on for the more purple it goes. It looks really nice though!

I took an other pictures after the first wash. The ends look kind of silvery white now. Still love it 😀

That is gorgeous! I may give that a try some time... My hair always turns out pretty yellowy after bleaching and though I've only tried to use toner on it once, it didn't help a darn bit.

yeah, it's one thick layer. the colour totally hides in a cinnamon bun.
