Special Effects Deep Purple and Manic Paic Amplified Cotton Candy Pink

I love pink/purple combos and its definitely on my list of to-do colours.
You really suit this and I love the style too - very nice 🙂

Thanks Nickki... I think the pink needs re-doing so that's my plan for later! Quick question... how do I stop the purple running into the pink when I rinse it? :/

Hi Bizzi, first off - love the colour. Second - love the hair cut!

The purple will run a little but hopefully not enough to notice. I have pink dreads and the ends are tainted with the black I have underneath but unless you put the ends of my dreads near the roots you can't tell.

Cheers Mathurine... unfortunately the purple did run into the pink so it's not the result i was hoping for, so I'm gonna re-do the pink later but don't want the same to happen :/

If I cover the purple in conditioner or baby oil or something do you recon it'll protect it and reduce running?

Hi Bizzi, I know this is a bit of a necrosis post but I was wondering if you bleached or pre lightened first as I really love the way the purple came out in your hair

Hi Trust.

Yup, I dyed my hair to a golden / orange colour first as the hair is more porous at this stage of bleaching than letting it get too white. I left the dye on for about 3 hours with my hair wrapped in foil and plastic, with the hairdryer on it to increase the heat and colour absorption.

Wow! A lot of effort, the results were worth it. Do you have any pictures of it now? And has it faded a lot?

It looks great! I was thinking about doing a purple head and pink highlights myself.
