Purple dip dye

I thought I'd share my latest venture. I had recently gone back to black and as I'm getting married in December, decided I wanted to do something about it now. I used one box of colour rewind from superdrug and it got me to this.

I then did a strand test with a Cerise and Plum mix (3/4 Cerise at least, I was sparing with the plum), and it looked great so I went ahead. I was originally going to go lighter and do pink hair with purple strands, however the colour that I got was pretty and my natural hair will blend well, so I went more conservative.
I may bleach bathe the purple lighter in future however I'm trying to avoid it, as my hair is in pretty good condition, other than wanting a bit of moisture. I really like this, especially when the sunlight hits it. There is pink in it however my camera is reflecting the purple tones better. πŸ™‚

Pretty color and nice dip dye! I wouldn't advise bleach bathing the color to lighten, though. Fade it then you can try another color remover to lighten your base more. Once you've gotten all the old dye out you can then you can reapply a more dilute mix of dye or consider bleach bathing. πŸ™‚

Thank you. I appreciate the advice too, just not sure how a colour remover will work on just the ends of my hair.
No harm in trying though, like I say I don't want to use bleach if it can be helped.
