Punky Colour Violet + Plum + Adore Indigo Blue

I wanted to transition my hair from a pink based purple to a blue based purple, and this is the result. It came out extremely saturated considering how much I diluted it. This is 1 pot of Violet diluted 1:1 with conditioner, half a pot of Plum diluted 1:2 with conditioner,  and then a big dollop of Adore Indigo Blue with an equal squirt of conditioner.

Oh, you always get the best fades! It's a shame you're not getting what you aim for, but it still looks amazing! And your hair is in such a good condition too!

Is that new plum or old plum? I have loads of violet and I'm trying to make that colour.

It is a lovely fade, but odd how such a bluey purple can fade so pink!
Does it go green when bleached? If so you could try a very quick bleach bath over it all to get to the pale minty tones. My hair is pale minty green underneath, from the Turquoise I had in the summer, and it fades bluer. I have to use a diluted pink as a toner to keep it looking purple.
When I put the Plum/Neon blue mix on (the darkest purple mix I have used) it did go through a pinky phase as it faded, but then went more silvery blue grey, so maybe you just need to keep at it.

Babyj do you think this method and colour would work on my base? Perhaps the same method but without diluting?

There is one issue I can see here. BabyJ is in the US, Punky Color Plum isn't the same as Directions Plum, I think. Plum here is now actually blue based. It's been fading to a very strong royal blue on people. Plum comes out almost black at first, so, even with your base you'd need to dilute it, it's SUPER pigmented πŸ™‚
