My new hair! One photo is what it looks like inside in darker light, and the other is how bright it looks in the daylight π I originally tried for a pastel purple but found it didn't take well at all when really diluted, so re dyed it with a stronger but still slightly diluted mix of the dye and conditioner. And I love it π
It's a hard colour to capture, the middle photo shows a bit more bluey than it really is
Thats an amazing purple π
Oh my gosh it's gorgeous!
It's so pretty!!!
Wow, that is lovely!
So pretty!
Lovely colour and you look so pretty too π
I LOVE this colour!
Thanks everyone π I wasn't sure about it at first but I really love it now! It's so hard to get an accurate photo of it though!
How did you get that color? I went to a salon yesterday hoping to come home with that color and u can only see the purple in daylight if u hold it up to the sun. I paid way to much and it wasn't the purple I hoped for. I have dark brown hair they bleached it twice took 4hours only to end up with purple tinted hair. Can I put something on it to make it pop?

You gonna have to deep-condition, repair your hair, re-build with some protein treatments, oil treatments (coconut oil, argan oil), repair your hair along with stripping the colour out, there's many threads on this forum about what to use to strip dye from your hair, do it for approximately 3-6 months, and after that, over a course of next 6-12 months use low volume bleach (like 10 or 20 vol) and deep-condition in between bleaching, bleach your hair maybe like once a month, and you gonna have to go white for the purple to show up amazingly, you have to have platinum, white hair, as any yellow remaining in your hair will counter-balance the purple leaving you with wishy washy results

What was the shade of your blonde before they put the purple on? It may have needed toning to a paler blonde still. Mine was a very pale almost white blonde, with streaks of peachy pink. Also, it may have come out so dark if they used the whole tube of dye, as pravana violet is so strong and pigmented. I diluted mine with conditioner to get a bright shade rather than it start off a darker purple. (But as I said super diluted didn't work, I used about a tablespoon of the dye in with conditioner). I would try fading it a bit and see if it looks a bit brighter π
OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!! I have violet but found it super dark. Was your base light? (Just kidding I can read. Of course it was!) I absolutely ADORE this. If I go purple again I'd want something like this.
yeah It was on a light base, but I also mixed only a small amount of the dye in with white conditioner, or else it would have come out much darker. I'm finding it goes patchy kind of fast, but because I didn't have to use much of the dye it's easy to keep topping the colour up without having to bye more dye π
Lovely! Especially the second pic is a stunning colour.
How does the dye hold? Pravana faded super fast on my hair unfortunately. So I haven't gone for the other colours. Curious to hear other people's experiences.
I also love your bone hair clip!
