So, I decided to NOT go black, but instead go for a purple colour, since black is so hard to get rid of.
I noticed that trying to remove Directions Turqoise is a b*tch, even with 2 packs of bleach. So my base was a pale yellow at the roots and then faded green at the lenghts, which made me very unsure if the violet would cover, but I crossed my fingers.
I tried diluting it first, but it didn't cover as good over my patchy green, so I started slapping on the real, un-diluted stuff, which is SO pigmented, it's amazing. ๐ฎ
Kept it on for 3 hours ca, with a showercap on (the sexy-look, right?) and then rinsed with shampoo and a round of K-pak afterwards. The result IS indeed very hard to capture on pictures. It turns out VERY blue on photos, but irl it's a very rich purple-colour.
So here is a picture.
See how it looks like a cobalt-blue instead? hehe. Gotta go over it once more to colour some patches that didnt get enough colour from the diluted stuff. Other than that, it covered the green REALLY well. *1*
Anyway, very please with it. I've missed being darker, didn't really feel the Turqoise on me anymore.
Stunning colour, even if the camera didn't capture it accurately; I bet in real life it looks even more lovely ๐
