N'Rage Purple (One Month Fade)

As some of you may remember, I changed my blue and green to purple a month ago for a cosplay competition.  I was worried about how it would turn out since I had a lot of green still but the purple really took over.  It had started out really dark, almost black but since has lightened to a medium-ish purple.  I've washed it eight or nine times now and the color is still fantastic!

The brand I used is N'Rage which can be found at Sally's if your live in the states.  It's labeled as a demi, which I'm told means it supposedly does contain a small amount of developing agent, but I kept a careful eye on my hair and left it in for hours anyway.  It doesn't seem to have done anything damaging for my hair.  It feels the same as if I had used a semi.  But it's staying power is fantastic.

I have a few pictures from my hair when it was freshly colored, but they are on stage and the lighting there makes it look 100% blue so I won't show those since it's not an accurate representation.  But these two photos are from earlier today.  I'm so happy with the results.  If it were my blue, it would be so washed out by now.  But I liked how it's fading so much, I'll probably keep it for a while still before putting new dye on it.

Thanks!  They are kind of a pain.  My hair doesn't hold heat curls very well so if I want them to last longer than an hour, I use the sponge kind and sleep on them.

I lightly dampen my hair with a leave in conditioner and roll my hair into sponge curlers over night.  Normally my hair doesn't hold curls at all.  This is the only way I can do it that I've found out so far.

I'm so jealous, I'd always wanted purple hair like that, but whenever I try, it never turns out anywhere near :/ I tried the other day and it just looked a mess, so had to dye it black, so no more crazy colours for me for a while, but seriously, that's so awesome!

Thank you everyone!  I can't speak for N'Rage's other colors but the purple is definitly some major bang for your buck.  ๐Ÿ™‚

That's awesome wow one month? I'm getting mine red and I hope they have a good red in that brand at sallys! Since I dye my hair monthly because I don't like having grow out, a month is really all I need for staying power. Awesome

Oooh. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I love this. Really suits you.
I find it hard to imagine you with anything but blue hair, simply because you've only had that colour in all the pictures I've seen. ๐Ÿ˜›
But yes. Purple looks veeerrry nice on you! Glad to hear it's lasting okay.
