My CC lilac had begun to fade, so decided to try the Marshmallow. I scrubbed what lilac i could out of my hair so it was silvery blue ish, but really pale. Whacked on the marshmallow over the top when my hair was dry, then slept on it. Washed it off thismorning then dried it. It not the colour I was expecting. Its taken the blue ness out of my Lilac fade so its more of a lavenedr tone, but the strtips where my hair was white, and the streaks of it i put in my fringe arent really noticable, just white with a slight lilac sheen. Luckily I ordered another bottle of Lilac so will out that on next week sometime. I think this makes a great toner though..
Heres some pics, sorry for the rubbish, webcam quality.
oooh its done what it did to kittylost's hair then, just acted as a toner :/
Yeah, i think it is a toner rather than a colour. in fact, ive had more lilac colours from toners left on too long! The colour reminds me of snow =]
how odd, as nickki asked them about it and they said its deffo not a toner, yet it works like one!
im tempted to try it to just see what it would do on my silvery white hair... probably nothing lol
Its really weird. I really want someone to try the bubblegum blue! wanna see what that looks like. I reckon it'll make a snowy white with a pinky lilac sheen. thats what it did on the bits that had gone silvery after my lilac.
That's twice it's toned and not dyed ... Hmmm ... CC have some 'splainin' to do.
It looks lovely even if it wasn't what you were expecting!
I agree looks like its actually a toner
it does look nice though
i know...hopefully nikki can track down what this stuff actually is! i think i might try diluted violette next as the lilac was a bit too blue for me.
I'm disappointed that it just acted like a toner.. and have bubblegum blue but haven't tried it yet >.<
At least it's a cheaper toner :p

and we all know what to use when we want to tone...its actually making me think I may be able to get pale enough for a pastel if I use this π
try the bubblegum! im desperate to see what it looks like. people keep asking if ive bleached the lilac out of my hair, not the response i was after =[
it does look booootiful, but is a shame that it isnt what you were after =s
also people dont no shit!
Diluted violette makes a lovely lilac! And it takes a while to fade despite being diluted and it takes AGES to use a bottle π
Crazy Color have confirmed this is definitely a light pink/lilac shade and they are not classing it as a toner. They said these new pastel shades need a very light base to work (as do most pastel shades). I have given them the feedback for this colour from the posts on this forum and will update if they get back to me about it.
I have some human hair weft that I will try this on that to see what results I get on light blonde hair.
I do see a purpley hint on your hair but besides that... I can't wait to see what Nickki's experiments can tell us about it xD. Also, if someone tries out bubblegumblue, please make a post about it :D!
