So I'm incredibly impatient, and was going to go purple in January, but since I had the dye already, I decided to do it now. I bleached my bright red hair with Truzone 20vol peroxide and Jerome Russell Powder Bleach, a straight bleach for 40 mins. 1st pic is my starting colour, next pics are the results of the bleach. Not the worlds most even bleach job, but the purple I'm using is quite deep/dark, so it'll even things up nicely! Will post pics again once I'm finished! (excuse the no-makeup/unstyled fringe/seriously unflattering photos of the after bleach results! Literally taken just minutes after washing it out!)
yeah you will get a nice color if its deep purple sfx. thats what i use. and ive put it on darker bleached hair.. turnt out great!
im excited to seeee!
oooh cant wait to see π
also I got a good result from purple (even though mine was directions) onto uneven bleach
I'm so excited!
I'm sitting here with the plastic wrapped head that we're all familiar with now! It's been on for about 3 hours now, and I think I'll leave it for another hour or so before I wash it out. Need a deep condition as well as the bleach did a bit of damage to my hair (not too bad, no breakage or gumminess, just a bit of condition damage), so will wash that out before I take pics of the colour. But they're coming! If not tonight, then tomorrow morning when it's dry! Yay! I can't wait!
i am sooooo impatient. i swear you ladies have been teasing me with having to wait! its bad enough waitng for my own hair =(
Looking good so far, can't wait to see the final result!
i wanna see now too!
ooooo i liiiiiiike =)
*rushes to thread to see pics*
Love it! It looks truly gorgeous!
oh wow, I thought the red really suited you, but I think the purple suits you even more!! π
Thanks ladies! I'm very happy with the result, partly because I now don't look like loads of people around town who have suddenly dyed their hair red. I know mine was better, but still, it made me feel kinda not original, and since dyeing my hair is about making me feel good, it was time for a change!
