Direction's Plum Fade

So, about a month ago I dyed my hair purple using mainly Direction's Plum with a dash of Purple Burst from Rusk's Scream range. You can see photos of that from an earlier topic I posted here: http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=4368.0

I took some photos of it a month later to show how it had faded and to be honest I'm really happy with it! The difference at my roots is just because they weren't as bleached as the rest of my hair, but the main bulk of hair has pretty much remained the same colour apart from a few greyish-lilac strands.

So the one of the left is when I first dyed it and on the right is exactly a month later.

This was my first time using Directions and I am impressed! If you wanna see more fade photos I've put some up here: http://goodmorningangel.blogspot.com/2011/12/nail-of-day-hair-updates.html

It's barely faded at all, and where it has it's gone such a lovely colour!

Very nice fade - not much difference from when first done and still looks gorgeous.
On a totally separate subject I LOVE the turquoise nail polish in your faded photo - which brand/colour did you use?

Ohh that's one lovely Plum coloured hair! Looks so beautiful!
You mentioned that the difference at your roots is due to not being as bleached as the rest of your hair. Then if you wanted to have them the same colour, what should one do? I'm always afraid of dying my whole hair for those reasons x_x

It looks lovely still, I used to use Plum and loved the minimal upkeep it required, I preferred it after a few washes 😀 I also would like to know which brand the turquoise nail varnish is, so pretty

Sorry for the massively delayed reply,

RE: nail varnish, it's Rimmel - Green with Envy, and I love it!! I totally recommend it.
RE: Xana, I just rebleach and redye my roots.

It's not very glamarous - I wash my hair about every 5/7 days and dry shampoo in between.

Exactly how mine has gone! It's the best dye I've ever used, and I've just ordered 4 more tubs! I'm going to keep it this way for a while, since I have ALWAYS wanted purple hair lol
