I'm not sure if this qualifies as a true purple, but it's more purple than red. I hope I've placed it in the correct forum? π
First photo is my starting point: faded Nuclear Red/Candy Apple mix over Majicontrast Red.
I applied diluted SFX Pimpin Purple (50/50 with conditioner) over the faded red to get the second photo which was taken with no flash in broad spectrum lighting.
Third photo is in natural light with no flash (sun shining through window).
I'm on my way around the colour wheel toward turquoise. I suspect it will take several months to get there - but after nearly a year with red, I'm going to enjoy the journey and the fun changes. π
Thanks for peeking!
thats lovely π
I love that colour π

Thank you so much, ladies! π I am enjoying it!

Thank you!!! xx
Looks fantastic, especially with the black for contrast
a lovely shade π i do like the name black rasberry too
Thanks again. π You know... I didn't even think about this being more than one colour. Ha! Black is black and so I suppose in my mind I didn't even consider it a second colour. I was thinking only about the purple-y shade on the top! π
looks awesome MM, the colour and the cut π
Looks great!! π
Thanks again, girls... I'm honestly really loving the colour! The change from red has been really good; sorta lifted my spirits a bit, and I'm liking the darkness of it. π I might try to stay here for a while longer than I planned.
ETA: Upadated Photos
Two days ago, I applied a mix of SFX Pimpin Purple with a touch of Adore Indigo Blue which I then diluted with conditioner over top of the fade (I was still fading quite red). It came out a really deep eggplant colour - I could scarcely tell the difference from the black whilst indoors! Sadly no pics of that... but this morning I gave it a good scrub and it's lightened up a bit. I have just over 1 cm of roots now, and this seemed to blend them in well. *yay* It's been fun to be something other than red for a change. π
First and last pic taken indoors. Second pic taken outdoors - no editing on that one other than to crop it down.
