I have been aiming to get a lighter purple, so this weekend I bleached and used a color remover to get rid of my Adore Purple Haze. I ended up with this base:
I mixed up some Joico semis in indigo and pink with a lot of conditioner, as they are quite pigmented. The color looked awesome in the bowl, but I ended up with this mess:
I tried really hard not to cry (lol) then went at it again. I wasn't about to use the same dyes because I wasn't sure what the heck happened. So I mixed up half a tube of Ion Titanium, 1 tube of Ion Purple, half a tube of Ion Magenta, and half a tube of Ion Lavender, with about 2 tablespoons of conditioner. I had to make it darker than I wanted to cover up the above mess, but I like the outcome nevertheless. Here she is:
Beautiful result π
See your other thread for why you didn't get a good result the first time from Adore. It's a very, very simple one π

WOW, i love that color. I dont usually like purple on my hair but that color makes me want to give it another go.
Thank you ladies ♡ I'm hoping it fades ok with that weirdness underneath!
Fade update!
I have been washing a little more than usual, and using shampoo with sulfates to try and speed along the fade. This last time I washed I went back to co washing because my hair was feeling really dry, and it really made it much happier! My blue is staining, so I will just have to live with that. I'm hoping to get it a little lighter in the next week or two before I do my roots and hopefully final bleach bath. I tested out a color remover on ia strand and it made it pale pink, excellent π
