Adore Violet Gem

I'm going round the colour wheel at the moment. I want to go pink, but I had turquoise-teal hair (like in the profile pic) that wouldn't fade, so colour-wheeling it all the way! I was Blue Velvet before, and faded that to a terrible bluish-purplish-pinkish-silverish mess using the shampoo/bleach powder method (I was wearing a towel, honest!)

I got some Adore Violet Gem, mixed it with some Directions Lilac to try and thicken it (didn't work) because I find Adore very difficult apply as it's so liquid, then added a squirt of Fiesta Fuchsia to put a hint of pink in and aid transition to my next colour:

It has a nice magenta halo in the sun that I'll try and capture and add later. I'm not super-keen on me in purple but needs must!

I think purple is pretty nice on you! You don't seem to have the problem I have in it where it makes dark circles appear under my eyes that are otherwise invisible!

I have to say, I quite liked your previous fade actually, it's very oil slick-y

I really like that purple on you. Also your eyes look amazing in the first picture!

I'm sure I've said this before to you, but me too! Though, my black circles are visible all the time, just much worse with purple. I get complimented when I have purple though, so maybe it's not too bad...

Looks fab Tabitha!
