Here you are, guys! You asked for it!
My pink cat! πŸ™‚

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9cfpr3An1lI

NOTE: I used FOOD COLOURING to dye my cat pink! I had no idea if the dye sold on BeeUnique is safe for any animals, especially since I didn't want my cat to lick and shake off dye everywhere! We used food colouring because it's safe for his skin, and safe for him to eat. Please, please, PLEASE don't use human dye on an animal unless you've been told my a pet dying professional that it's 100% safe! Even better, if you've got the stupid amount of cash it'll cost, then just pay a professional to do it!
But just rubbing on food dye is way cheaper, quicker, and fun. :>

I didn't rinse the food dye off at any point. We literally just diluted it in a bowl a little bit, rubbed it on, and put all the leftovers in a plastic bottle for future use. I'm planning to do him alot brighter next time.

This won't work on darker haired cats. My cat has creamy white hair, which is why it worked so well. This also works for dogs, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice...  As far as I know, there isn't really a furry animal you can't do this to. But once again, aaaaaalways check!
Enjoy! :>

Buahaha.
Yeah. I'm definitely going to be dying my cat like this alot more from now on. >_>
And I'm never buying a cat that isn't white. xD Ever. The boything doesn't seem to keen on the idea, but he had no say in it! >:)

Thank you for being sensible and only using something light and suitable like diluted food colouring - a friend of mine dyed the end of her dog's tail bright pink (with a veggie dye I think or Crazy Colour, not sure) and he kept licking it, chewing his hair out and was very unwell over the next few days, getting sick and eating very little. πŸ™ I wouldn't recommend anyone doing this to a pet who has a very sensitive system (as he did) as even food colouring could upset their tummy, but if it's diluted and on spots they can't reach it should be fine.

I love your cat Hazillian, I've never seen a pink cat so well behaved! πŸ™‚

Ringo is suuuper chill. He just sleeps and eats. He doesn't run around or anything.

But yeah. We obviously put the most on his head and neck, places which he can lick his paw and wipe, but it's not as easy for him to directly lick. So his head is hot pink, and the rest looks like candy floss. :>

I was going to use veggie dye, but I looked it up because I care so much about my precious Ringo. I didn't want to hurt him. I couldn't find any definite information, and since so many people had used food dye with no bad reactions from the pet, and after a small bit put on him as a test, we decided it was the best option.

Luckily my cat never stays mad at me for long. πŸ™‚ He's actually on my lap snuggling me right this second. It wasn't traumatizing for him, either. He's shown absolutely no signs of being stressed out because of the experience.
^ Just making it clear that I'm not an animal abuser right there. LOL.

I wish I had a golden labrador instead of a choccy and a black lab so I could do this to it πŸ™

Cuute! You can also use beetroot juice (like straight out of the can) that works really well too

Don't they sell special dye for animals? It is so wrong yet I love seeing animals dyed wacky colours.

Yeah, they do sell pet dye, but it's more pricey, and probably not so easy to find. πŸ™‚ But there's nothing wrong about it! πŸ˜›

N'aw. :< Just dye him blue instead, and use the excuse it's a manly colour! πŸ™‚

Poh, we can move in next door to each other and compare pets. LOL. xD
