i have been away for a LONG time. the last time i posted, i think my plans were to gradually lighten before going for a bright orange/pink combination. needless to say, that still hasn't materialised. over the past few months i've gone from reddishy-chestnut-brown through to varying shades of ginger, but hey ho, out of nowhere i decided i was going to slap rose red on my ginger base and see how it turned out.
and here it is π
i know everyone says about colours being hard to capture on camera, but JEEZ, this is literally IMPOSSIBLE. sometimes it looks ribena-purple, it's bright magenta in the sun, and a lot of the time when i try to get it on camera it looks nearly red. i think the above photo might be as close as i can get to the true result, but to be honest i'm not entirely sure because it changes every time i look at it.
what a beautiful result!
It's gorgeous!
Wow, so pretty!!
That is such a lovely colour! It really makes your blue eyes pop. π
Beautiful π
Lovely color π
thanks everyone π just found out what everyone meant by rose red having particularly bad run-off. i just dyed my face, neck, shoulders and chest pink in the shower. should i vinegar rinse? and does anyone have any tips for dye removal from skin haha? :/
I love this! So pretty! And yep a vinegar rinse will help. For skin i use matrix color stain remover, it works better than any remedy or product ive ever tried. If youre licensed you can find it at a pro store. Here in the states its only $3 which really suprised me for 8oz. Ive seen it on amazon though. A lot of people say alcohol, nail polish remover work, and facial toner. Thats what the matrix stuff reminds me of.
That looks lovely!! I've used nail varnish remover to take it off and I know this is gross but fag ash and vinegar although it smells takes colour off skin really well!!
