So last summer I did it 😛 I went pink. I faded my hair for almost 3 months (swimming daily in the sea and then rinsing helped a lot). I brought it to a light orange and then I did a BB and made my hair a very light orange to yellow. I shampooed with silver shampoo and did a strand test and since everything was looking okay I gave it a go. It was looking quite dark so I diluted it just a tad with conditioner.... I'll post pictures chronologically so you can see how it faded....
