Pics - Before/After the first wash!

Hi guys!

I just wanted to share with you my before and after pics of my very first wash and my routine so that if anyone else is having problems with colour fade after a first wash they can see what I did. I know everyones hair is different but it may be a help to some 🙂  I'm so pleased it hardly faded at all!  😀

Brand & Colour used: Directions Cerise & Tulip

Shampoo & Conditioner used: Joico K-Pak

Washing Routine: This was the very first wash less than a week before I dyed it. I washed in lukewarm water with the shampoo, then towel dried until damp. Then I applied the Joico re-constructor,combed it through to the ends, and wrapped my head in clingfilm and put on my shower cap and left it like that for a good 4-5 hours (facebook got the better of me!) Lol. I then rinsed in as cold a water as I could stand and then applied a vinegar rinse. I combed through again,wrapped a towel on my head until part dry, sprayed a quick spritz of Charles Worthington Heat protector on and blow dried. Also I must add that I don't use a brush anymore, I always use a comb and find its far kinder on my hair 🙂
